To witness a Place takes time. There is the ongoing becoming that is especially pertinent here, at the fall line of the James/Powhatan River, due to tides, storms and the deep history of unsettlement.  unsettling. There is the need to see something once and to see it again and again.

 It shifts, and I shift.
